These tooling planks are used for producing models, fixtures, patterns and even start-up forms and molds. Schupan can cut material to size and even provide larger-than-standard 'glued-up' sheets. Most material is manufactured up to 6" x 24" x 60" but if you need it larger, LET US KNOW! We'll do the work for you at a very competitive price.

DP-1051 Die Plank
DP-1051 Die Plank is an aluminum filled polyurethane board designed for CNC machining of production fixtures capable of withstanding extended use and handling. Applications for the DP-1051 Die Plank include checking and assembly fixtures, holding fixtures, and many other types of tooling including vacuum-form tools, low-volume foundry patterns, temporary models, and headliner tools.

PP-1052 Pattern Plank
Also known as the 'Red Stuff', PP-1052 is utilized for machining extremely durable and wear resistant foundry patterns, core boxes and other tools that require toughness. Common applications include prototype and low-volume to high volume patterns, stretch press dies, hemming bucks and hydroform tooling.

MP-1055 Model Plank
DP-1055 Die Plank is an economical and dimensionally stable material used for master models. This Tooling Plank will not result in objectionable dust particles when planed, milled, sawed or drilled. MP-1055 has outstanding dimensional stability, superior edge definition, resists warping and can be easily painted and finished for appearance and prototype models.

This board is a medium density modeling and styling board with excellent dimensional stability. It is non-abrasive, machines easily at fast cutting speeds, finishes to a good surface with excellent edge definition and produces very little tool wear.
