To all Schupan & Sons, Inc. and affiliated employees,

Many of you may have heard that Michigan Governor Whitmer’s recent Executive Orders have been deemed unconstitutional by the Michigan Supreme Court.

What does that mean to us?  In short: there will NOT be any immediate changes to our current procedures and policies.

Despite the wide assortment of misinformation on social media, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has the authority and is enforcing the following Executive Orders: #153 requiring the use of face masks; #160 limiting the number of people allowed for social gatherings; and #161 requiring remote work if possible. The DHHS also has authority and is enforcing COVID preparedness plans, social distancing guidelines, and daily screenings, etc.

We have made many strides in keeping people safe from the virus at our workplace. Therefore, and until further notice, we will continue to follow the practices we have in place.

As always, please feel free to connect with a member of this committee, your TMR Liaison, or a member of the safety team should you need any clarification.

 Thank you!

–COVID Action Committee
